SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

THE COPIES ARE COMING OUT WITH BLACK STREAKS. LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING COULD DO WITH CLEANING. IS THIS A JOB FOR ME TO JOB OR AN ENGINEER?

This machine uses a single drum and cleaning unit and a transfer belt assy with its own cleaning unit. That being said if one color is steaking they all would streak. My 1st guess without seeing copies from the machine would be that your problem is fuser related look in the fuser especially around the fingers for damage to the roller (this is common on these.
Good Luck

Ricoh 6513, service code 551

SC551 is thermistor pressure roller error. Check for paper jams in the fuser. It could need a new thermistor.

Make sure the fuser is secured and properly seated in the copier.

Service code 551

SC551 is an error with the fuser unit. The thermistor could be bad and need to be replaced or the press rollers are worn.

It should be looked at by an experienced technician to get problem repaired.

Ricoh 6513 - no power

There is no schematic available. Only point to point wiring for the various modules. If you have no power at all, nothing starts glows or blinks on the control panel or on any of the various boards then you will need a service call to try to resolve the problem. It may require a board swap to see if that board is at fault. Unfortunately the days of repairing boards are long gone. Sorry!

Ricoh 6513

A sc541 code is with the fixing ass'y did you try to reset it? Did it come right back? Is the fuser warm to the touch? If so it is most likly to be one or both of the termister in the fuser. If it is cold it may be the fuser heatting lamp or thermal fuse
