Question about Frigidaire GLTF1670A Front Load Washer
I'm actually not 100% on the model. It says Gallery on the front of the dryer and nothing on the washer. We have a front loading stackable washer that's about 5 years old. Today (Good Friday of course) is decided to not begin the spin cycle and drain. It fills, washes and then the water stays put. I opened up the bottom and it sounds like there's power going to the motor that looks to be responsible for draining the water (located in the front right corner). I have no appliance repair knowledge but I'm assuming the motor is shot. Any thoughts?
If your washer is digital or with elecronic control board check the the motor control board located at the bottom difiniely you have to call a tech to confirm that. other model like wd5595 and wd 8095 has the same problem and it is the motor control unit that always fails.
