Usually you can find the correct audio drivers on the net.
You need to know if your pc has a sound card added or if it uses onboard sound. if it uses onboard sound then you need to find out the motherboard make and model number, usually found on the motherboard or in the manual that goes with it.
Then go to the motherboard manufactures website and look for the support area.

Go to your PC manufacturer's website and search for the drivers. If you provide the make/model we can most likely give you a direct link to what you need. If the sound card was purchased seperately, just provide the make/model number of the card.

I accidentally remove my sound card; how do I get it back?

Hi,

Follow this step.

go to contorl panel > system > hardware tab > device manager....look under sound, video and game controller.

If uninstall by right clicking any thing that title with Audio...

Once you done that...reboot your system and let windows find it again and it will install the driver for you.

If the above method doesn't work then you would have to go to the manufactor website of your audio card and download the driver for it.

Let us know how it going for you.

I cant get sound thru my speakers due to missing audio devices or programs.

You should just wipe your hard drive clean, then..........

Install Fresh CLEANl Windows (Genuine Microsoft Disc).......Not the Software you got with the emachine......

You can borrow a Windows Disc of the same windows Version and use the License you got..... :)

then update the drivers.......

Never use anything but a REAL windows installation........without any other software (trial, adware, etc......) ALL OF PREMANUFACTURED PCs COME LOADED WITH ****.

Audio Drivers

that shows that the driver of your multi media have been uninstalled accidentally. you may reinstall the driver using your motherboard cd. you can check the status if this has no driver or not by going to the control panel, double click system, click hardware then click the device manager. if you notice a yellow question mark that means there is no driver installed. so install by using your motherboard cd

No sound on my computer

go here , select your product , series and model. , select the + next to where it says "downloads" . select your sound driver, download the driver to your desktop (so you can find it).
now double click on the driver to start the install and follow the prompts. restart the computer
when windows opens you should hear the windows chimes. if not, go to you control panel, click on SYSTEM-select the hardware tab-click on device manager and look for any yellow !'s next to the listing labeled "sound video and game controllers. if you see one of those , right click on the device and click "uninstall". then try reinstalling the driver you downloaded. You might check here first as if a driver is installed incorrectly or corrupted it wont let you install a new driver untill the old bad one is uninstalled.
Post again here if this does not solve your issue. Please rate if it does.
Thank you for using Fixya
