Call you service Provider and tell them to reset your data settings.. There is something not right on SP end not yours.

There is software you can buy to do this task
This link provides you with a software and explains what it does and compatibility. You will need a USB cable to hook up the phone to the computer.
This software is $69
The information is on the SIM card in the phone. (internal phone memory card)
You can also google in "Recover Deleted text messages"
There is alot of software out there.

go to settings ---> call barring ---> then click on Data calls ----> cancel .
this should enable sms send and recieve.

I had this problem once with another cell and I found out that some of the text messages from other phones, like the LG and PDA phones send with kilobytes that are needed to be "downloaded" through a multi-media package or internet access. If you are able to send texts and they receive them, check with your carrier.
Also, try shutting the phone off and restarting.

check the message centre no. that must be available in the text message setting...
check it, if it persists then u have to reset your phone or check it to the service provider... they will solve it, if the problem belongs to them.
