Hi, is there a way to make the hot water hotter in a 2016 Jayco Journey. The water is just hot enough for showering but not hot enough to wash the dishes.

remove the unit that mixes the hot and cold water at the hot water system to prevent scalding of people
it is fitted there by law but unfortunately the plumbers who fit it are not willing to fit it where it is supposed to be fitted ( baths , showers and hand basin taps and lines )
better and cheaper to fit just one than several
it is not required for sinks and dishwasher and washing machines lines
anyway the human hand cannot stand water over 75 c as that when burns occur so having hotter means that you have to add cold to be able to put your hands in the water and that sort of defeats the purpose of having hotter water

Have triton ivory electric shower but flow rate is rubbish when set to 7 or 8 too make water hotter why?

How cold is the water coming into the heater?
How long has it been in use?
Do you have 'Hard' water?

It sounds like a scaling, and flow restriction problem--
Tell us more what you are trying to do, and what you are working with-- (as far as water, hardness, pressure, age, etc.)

WATER DELIVERED FROM SHOWER HEAD NOT HOT ENOUGH

I think some shower valves have a safety setting to prevent burning. maybe you could adjust that to be hotter.

No cold water, Only hot water in showers.

The plumbers screwed up when they installed your showers. There are two connections on each shower. one for hot and one for cold. they connected the two hot water lines together with a T fitting and then ran a line to the main hot water line and tied it in. Then they connected the two cold water fittings with a T and ran that line to the main hot water line and tied it in there instead of into a cold water line like they were suppose to. This is the only possible logical solution to this problem. They tied your cold water connections to both showers into a hot water line instead of a cold water line.

Intermatic electric water heater timer only gives enough hot water for a 7 minute shower. How do I increase this time?

Try turning your thermostat up 20 degrees. That will make hotter water, requiring more cold to mix so you'll use less hot water for the shower. If that helps but you'd like it longer, increase the temperature in 10 degree increments until you reach a temperature that works.

Triton electric shower runs cold

hi it sounds as though the thermostat has gone on top of the can assembly, or moreover it has scaled up & the element needs replacing, if thats the case your better off buying a new unit as the cost of the can assembly & the fitting it will be nearly as much, plus witha new unit you'll be getting a 2 yr guarantee?
Just a thought!
