Question about Sony ICF-C212 Clock Radio
After setting time within few hours the time gets slower more than
1/2an hour what is ther problem. I just plugged it directly to the power no
9 volt battery inserted.
That clock use LM8560 IC. if u live in a country with 50hz, u must close the jw11 (this make a jump betwen those pins 15 and 26). that enable the 50hz. left it open, when is 60hz.

Considering a 9VDC battery keeps the clock alive when power is disconnected, I would guess the clock time is independent of line current frequency. Does anyone actually use motorized clock works anymore?
