I replaced the toner cartridge now it says CC in the window, it will not turn copy or anything else. HELP!

Is this a conspiracy? A web search shows many have the same issue, wishing to continue using what is left on the drum until it is worn out (an environmentally friendly solution) yet the info on how to reset the chip or replace it, seems to be an obscure closely guarded secret. Does anyone have answers or do they get deleted by the Canon "gestopo" ?

Sounds like there is a piece of paper stuck in the machine somewhere. Maybe a sensor arm has been pulled out of location. Let me know.

SOURCE: Canon Copier NP 1020 - error code E0

pretty much the same, the codes are good for several models not just one.

you need to find the other numbers to know exactly which code it is, press the start or stop key to see it display the other #'s.

fuser is on the left side if you replace the parts might as well replace the claws and oil roller.

I have a Canon pixma pro 9500 mark 11 printer and the ink absorber is Full .. Please please help I need the reset code to reset counter on printer .. I would be so very grateful thanks

Resetting the waste ink absorber on a Canon printer can resolve some error codes that appear when turning it on. Make sure the printer is turned off. Press and hold the Resume button (triangle inside a circle). Whilst it is held down, hold down the Power button. The green led light should come on. Keep the Power button held down. Release the Resume button and then press it twice. The light should go amber, then green again. Release the Power button. Press the Resume button four times and then press the Power button straight after to confirm the selected action (Reset Counter Absorber). Turn off the printer and then turn it on again

How do I change the drum to a Canon NP 7130 Black and White copier?

Could be the drum or the fuser causing your problem. To replace drum you need to open the machine by hitting the gray release latch on eft ide of machine to clamshell it open. Inside you will see th toner cartridge/ dv unit on the far right and immediately to the eft of that is the drum unit. You need to release the dv unit by turning a lever before removing the drum unit. Should probably call a tech to do this for you so you dont scratch or damage the drum. Drum life on that model is about 30,000 prints. Whats the meter reading on that copier?

Np 6412 copy dirty lines length of paper

Sounds as if the drum needs to replaced. How long has it been in the copier? They are supposed to be good for 30,000 copies or one year. It could also be dirty optics ( mirrors and glass ). Drum is easily installed by the customer. Just practice with the old drum - removing and re-installing before using the new drum. Too expensive to damage when installing. **** open the copier, Look under the control panel and you should see two levers. Move the right one to the right - this moves the developer away from the drum. Then move the left one down and this releases the drum for removal. Reverse procedure and power up the copier. It will automatically run and set the new drum settings into the copier.

How to remove drum scretch from Canon 6045 Copier

you cannot fix a line of a drum. If the drum is causing a line on copies you have to replace it. Any light or fingerprints can cause further problems. Look online or at your local canon dealer for the drum unit.
