A not responding computer has many causes. As long as the input devices such as your mouse and so on are in good condition, then it might be infected with virus, or your system has been corrupted. You may scan your computer from viruses or let it be formatted by a technician and reinstall OS and the necessary programs and softwares you ussually used to bring its performance back to normal.
