I got an e-mail notification 20/03/2008 advising that my Norton may not have installed properly on 2007-08-15 and may not have been activated properly Order #1837992433 There is a DOWNLOAD NOW and it says to click but nothin happens. Further down is says If you are unable to download and install automatically by clicking on the button above, please click here. Again nothing happens. Can you help me. Thanks Jack

You need to contact Norton I got an e-mail notification - 1.gif . Please click the link below to support.
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/index.jsp

This is not an unusual situation with Norton.
(I suggest to people never download a upgrade or download anything else but to get the real CD).
If your system would fail you'll still have the real CD.

You don't have to necessarily do anything to activate any Norton product. Once the product or program has been installed or downloaded to your computer, it is an automatic process ending in a request that you register with Norton and you do so by providing your e-mail and possibly your product key. Once it has finished installing, the anti-virus protection is then working to safeguard your computer.

You don't need the disk to install Norton as long as you have your product code.
Download and then activate the free trial with your code.

if you want a paid security software, i would suggest you to take up Norton internet security
if you want to install that
go to the following site
www.norton.com/nis11
you will be getting the trial version and then you can activate it
If you want a free secuirty software, then you can have microsoft security essentials
go to the following site and download that
