Question about SanDisk Sansa m250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Volume My daughter got this for a Christmas present, and it was working fine and she loved it, but she just informed me that when she turns it on, she can't hear the music. I tried it out and everything seems to work great, but we can't adjust the volume. She was able to hear it a little bit, but the last time we turned it on, it went all the way to the down position automatically and we can't get it to even budge to the get the slightest sound to come out. We have tried different ear buds thinking that that was what it was but we were wrong. Can you help?

Hmm... Maybe try removing the battery without turning the player off. I know it sounds crazy, but it resets the player to the default volume settings.

My daughter got a Polaroid mp3 player model PMP 180-4 for christmas and now does not want to turn on, what can be done to fix it?

I was able to reset my daughter MP3 while it was plugged in with the USB cord and then charged it fully and it works fine now. It appears I also had to adjust the on/off button.

Bought a Creative Muvo V100 2GB MP3 player for my daughter for christmas. The pretty pink one. She loves it but now it is stuck on the please wait mode whenever you turn it on, and I can not turn it off...

you prob need to format it.

To format a MuVo/ZEN (Flash) player, connect it to a USB port on your PC. Open the Windows Explorer, and locate the Removable Drive listing and right click on it. Select Format, and choose FAT instead of FAT32 or NTFS. After the formatting is complete, make sure that you stop your player before disconnecting it from your PC.

MP600 MP3 player automatically turns off when turned on

Please call COBY electronics at 800-727-3592 and let them know you received that player as a Xmas present. They will tell you to send the unit to COBY with $6 money order and you'll receive a new player in exchange. During the Xmas warranty period which lasts until March, you will not need to send a copy of the receipt.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here.

Please post a comment if you need additional assistance so that I can help you further.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

My ilo mp3 player is ruining christmas.....

This is the worst mp3 player ever invented - i have to tell you this up front. There is no driver, the company does not support the product anymore - I would return it now while you still can.

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Ilo mps and vista

I also have windows vista. I inserted the disc that came along with the ilo mp3 player and it accepted and recognizes the player. My husband and I bought it for our daughter for Christmas and she loves it. I would suggest uninstalling the program from the disc then reinstalling it. It took the 1st time for us when we downloaded. I hope this help's you out.
