You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.
I just bought my 3rd Acura Legend...but never encountered this problem. They removed my battery to place in another vehicle on the lot...and when they replaced my battery, the radio locked up and would not do anything. I called the Acura dealership in my area....have an appt for Monday, she said $51.00 to get code. I was reading on all the websites i could find about Acura radio codes...then i come accross one posting about an Acura Integra. It said her code was under her ashtray. I went out to my car...pulled my ashtray out. There was a white sticker with a 5 digit number first, and then an E number. I turned my radio on, entered 5 digit number...it BEEPED. I turned it off, and turned it back on...to the most WONDERFUL BOSE stereo system!! It worked ya'll!! I was so shocked!! It may not help everybody....but my 1995 Acura Legend 4Dr Sedan has MUSIC now!! So i thought i would pass it along...saved me FIFTY dollars!! :)
