Question about Televison & Video
First I am assuming you tried both the remote on and the button on that is on the TV and get the same results. If it's just the remote that is giving you the problem, put in some fresh batteries first and if that doesn't work, order a new remote. If both controls fail to turn the set on, your problem is in the latching network and requires a technician to find out which diode or chip has burned out. It would be on the control logic portion of the circuit board.
