Error Code E000 on Cannon Imagerunner 160...

Thank you for the prompt response, it sounds logical and may work... BUT.... I am a novice and cannot press (*) then (#) as I don't know where I should be WHEN I press the above to enter Service Mode.... I have searched every angle and avenue and help in the Canon Printer directory and cannot find any sensible area to enter (*) then (#)

Get into service mode by pressing.....
additional functions key (*) key and then...
ID(#) key...
Scroll down to PRINTER then press OK
Scroll down to PRINTER RESET
then indicate YES(*)

If E000 through E004 is indicated, the RAM on the image processor will
retain the error memory of the fixing assembly after the power switch has
been turned off an then on. Execute the following in service mode, and
turn off and then on the power switch to clear the memory: #7
PRINTER>#4 PRINTER RESET>YES=(*).

Ok guys i found how to reset all error codes on my NP6080 so do the next:

Open the front cover then w'll find a little cover with a push button inside push once and a $ symbol appears on the display then push a * key then 4 key then with -, + keys go to 13 ERROR then * and all errors are reset
