Usually this error occurs when Syncrosoft-Emu (H2O) is installed twice, to
bypass the problem make ctr alt delete which willl bring up the taskmanager,
click aplications on top of the screen and choose new tasks type in
msconfig and enter. In the msconfig window click the startup botton.
Disable (unmark) cledx.exe.click apply and okay.
Reboot to check that your problem is gone.
When you start cubase you will have to start true emu manually to startup

Hi rkpfunk, the easy way is to let your operating system erase the drive since your going to install a new OS. Load your OS CD into the cdrom drive. Boot the system Press the F8 key ever two seconds until you see a boot menu. Using your keyboard arrow keys highlight the cdrom drive & press enter. You should see, to boot to cd press any key. Press the space bar. Follow the on-screen prompts. Read each screen. You will have the option to perform either a quick format or a full format of the notebooks drive. Choose a quick format. Than allow the OS to install.

Please run windows update before installing any programs.
Execpt your network driver. (install first).
Many drivers & software need files from windows update to function correcty in cluding video.

I have used that program at least 4 or 5 times & never received the error message. Also everything I download I scan. Never the less it's been troubling me, so I thought I try a wild search & this is what I cam up with.
There is an icon for this program on the taskbar next to the clock. The program has a visible window. Program has no file description. File cledx.exe is not a Windows system file. Therefore the technical security rating is 27% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.
Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as cledx.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the cledx.exe process on your pc whether it is pest.

Just in case here's the other killer. Great for formating a drive that keeps coming up with blue screen. Some times you have to run both each program twice before they do the job. aarrrg!

Many thanks map9966 and delfo. Problem I'm having is that laptop refuses to boot from OSrecovery dvd. "press any key to boot from cd/dvd" does come up but after pressing any key instead of working from the dvd it reverts to a persistent screen which gives me a choice of either launching startup repairs or launching windows normally. No recognition of OS recovery DVD. That's why Fujitsu recommended that I erase the entire hard disk drive before attempting to reinstall the OS. They gave me this link - http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/kmt_f... from which I was meant to obtain a program from them to erase the hard drive but everytime I've tried this link I get a blank screen, no program. Any other tips on erasing hard drive before reinstalling OS would be greatly appreciated. You guys have been more help than Fujitsu (called today and they say they cannot understand why screen goes blank when I use their link as it apparently works for them - won't send me program on dvd despite offering to pay and won't email program to me). Thanks.

thanks again for links Mike. downloaded kill disk and burned as iso image but boot cd still ignored.decided to manually remove and format hard drive. now reinstalled os and all seems well (except a message saying "Team H20 CLEDX has stopped working" which seems to have caused a problem preventing usage of the launch bar at bottom of screen) many thanks for taking the time to offer advice - much more than fujitsu did.

i have the same similar problem...i downloaded cubase which didnt work 4 me..and ever since i keep getting the messege H20 cledex stopped working...and it stops me from accessing my tabs.
How do i get rid of this...i permently delted and uninstalled cubase and H20 programme.
