Ive had the same problem, sat 20minites the user was typeing the whole time. didnt asnver to me. I dont know. most likely a problem with the site, one user reported that he wasnt able to send me messages.

This was fixed in an earlier release but the fix may have been dropped in V9. It happens even with SP2. The problem is that both Word and X-treme 9 have normal.dot template files. the solution is to rename the Attachmate Normal.DOT file.
When I have ended a Live Chat session the tunnel is just lost although the Chat Window is still up. You have to go to your Profile Page look down the page to the header My Chat Sessions, then find the one you were just in and under that click the additional link, My Chat Session. You will see a full transcript.
On another note however, Lauren intends to purchase a Live Chat and as an expert engage in a Live Chat. She will then post to the Lounge and include Screen shots of both sides of the session so we can all then debate what to improve.
I've endlessly suggested our Live Chats initiate a IM window, probably MS Messenger, but I want the company to look hard at Google Talk, as Google is a major investor of FixYa the company.

Make sure that the camera is set up in the Windows Live programme or MSN depending on what you or your friend use.
Setting the cam up with the software you get with it is as neccassary as setting it up to use in MSN or Live.
Go to the tools tab and then web cam settings to calibrate the audio and video.
