I plugged my iriver H320 into a car charger. Now it alywasy says it's connected to the USB when I start it up. Works ok when actually connected to the USB, but cannot operate as a player anymore. Can this be repaired?

format is exactly what you have to do...but this how you do this...plug iriver to pc..goto my computer see the iriver...click on and copy all software only (hidden also) from iriver and save to temp folder on pc...now format the iriver.......okay....now copy from that temp folder (the iriver software) back to the iriver.....put you audio/video on its like new again...
I had a similar problem. It seemed to just die with a light blue backlight, not the usual one. It would not turn off or on. I thought it was gone for good. However, I re-installed the driver (in control panel, system, hardware, device manager) I had to do this a number of times, with the h320 attached by usb and not attached. After a number of attempts, I got a message 'disconnect iriver h320' I then let the 320 completely lose its battery power (over a day or so) then attached the charger and got the charging message. It works fine now. Hope this helps
