If you can drill a small hole in the figurine and another in the base so that with a steel pin or nail shaft the two parts can stand then use some epoxy resin around the repair leave it for 24 hours and the repair should be fine.

Please rate any assistance given - I hope this is helpful.

I just took apart a Sunbeam iron. This is how it disassembles: first remove the...

I recently had a problem with the steam button. It somehow during normal use came off its track in the handle and was stuck down in the "slot". After several searches online and this site i tried a knife along all the edges trying to figure out how to disassemble the iron. Well one quick flick with my knife to the side of the steam button and it came out. Well the surprise was the screw under these buttons. Hopefully this can help someone looking to disassemble the iron when they have problems.

Rowenta iron dg3050 iron potion broken and will not hold steam can you replace the iron part

More than likely your steam valve is broken or stuck. I had one of these and they are worth having repaired. Google Rowenta Repair Center.

I have a hinari steam generator iron and the steam has stopped coming through the iron and now coming through the base that the iron stands on!can anyone help please

Check the water reservoir of the steam generator and look for some hairline cracks. Also a clogged tubing will likely to go back water on reservoir inlet water pouring. Once you found the cracks, seal it with epoxy just enough to fill the cracks.
Thanks for asking.

Melting plastic from the housing is leaking from the base.

Irons heat up to 410° on the cotton setting.  If yours is leaking, it could be the sealant from inside.  If it was ever repaired, the wrong type of sealer was used.  If it wasn't repaired, it is overheating and needs repaired or replaced.
Are you sure a crayon wasn't put into the opening?

Tefal steam iron not heating up properly

That is probably because the contacts to the element at the base of the iron are broken.

To disassemble you have to remove the casing, then remove the steam pump at front top of iron and then undo the safety screw mounted on the front of the base plate.

Water Leaking

The seal between the top and the bottom plate has lost it's integrity. First try tightning the 2 screws on the underside of the iron. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you will need to take the iron apart and fix the seal. That will require you to remove those 2 screws and also a third screw that is up by the toe of the iron underneath the sprayer. You will then need to slowly pull the 2 pieces apart becasue the seal is made of a sticky rubber substance. Once you get it apart, you can then distribute the seal material to cover the bad area. Then just put it back together!
