I have a Panasonic 1080P 50'' Plazma HDTV. For some reason our picture has gone pink and we cannot get any sound in HDM1 input setting. When the SD card is selected or a DVD is played in Video1 setting the picture is clear and the sound works. We may have inadvertantly pressed a wrong button on our remote. This occurred after watching a DVD movie and returning to HDM1 mode. We bought our HDTV last fall.

Panasonic TX-L42E5B tv sound working but screen is black

It can also be the YMain board or the back light inverter board or a capacitor or fuse has blown on the power supply board. Which you usually lose sound before you lose both sound and picture. Try to hard reset is for about 4-6 hours by completely unplugging it.

Picture and sound flashes on and off

We recommend you test your HDMI device on a different HDMI input on the TV. If the problem persists then we recommend you replace your cable or satellite box.

need the model number to assist but it sounds like a main board issue if you have one of the panasonic plasma models that have the inputs all on the main board. You can get main boards for most models at www.tvrepairworld.com

Pioneer SD-533HD5 53 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television - Need Manual ....

ManualsLib has the manual for the SD-533HD5 here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/384249/Pioneer-Sd-643hd5.html . (The manual covers two models.) Once you modify the picture parameters (starting from STD, REF THEATER, GAME), these are stored as the User mode. If you press Menu when done changing the parameters, that input should maintain the User settings for the last setting until you change the Picture type. If you modified the parameters for STD and then return to that input and change the Picture to GAME, any modifications to the GAME picture parameters will become the new User Mode. See page 50 of the manual for the details: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/384249/Pioneer-Sd-643hd5.html?page=50#manual .

I hope this helps.

Picture went out on p50hdm Vizio Plazma tv after loud POP

It's either the backlight lamp or backlight inverter is busted due to a power failure or fluctuation. Here's how to determine which is which:
  1. Grab a flashlight.
  2. Turn on the TV.
  3. Shine the flashlight onto the screen.
  4. If you cannot see any display even a faint one, the backlight inverter is dead, else the backlight lamps are busted.
  5. Replace which ever is the culprit.

TV ranking

Hi. You could look up reviews. I personally usually never offer advice on choices, because what I like, may not be what you like..its a matter of personal preference. But in this particular case, I'd go for Panasonic. Why? Better features, better service, easier availability of parts, and better resolution.Plus some nice features. If this answers your question, PLEASE don't forget to rate as fixed. I'd really appreciate it. Enjoy your new tube!!!
