I know the answer to this one from experience, one of the wires to the speakers is broken in the area of the right hinge cover.
Remove the hinge cover and you will see the bundle of wires for the speakers and LEDs on the LCD assemble, carefully inspect the wires and you should find the broken one. If you are VERY careful and have a steady hand, you can splice the wire back together and have sound. Once I fixed mine, I also lightly re-routed the wires to limit the amount of chafing.

Lcd screen changes colors if you move screen clears up

That sounds like exactly what it is. I'd check to be sure your connectors are tight and that the cord(s) are in good shape. Look for damage where it goes into the device and at the plug. Replace as necessary.

I use ASPIRE 4920 and my screen flickers and goes white. After moving it back and forth it restores to normal for sometime. Can anyone help?

Your ribbon cable to the screen sounds as if it is damaged, or crushed, when you move the screen it probably breaks & remakes the connections again.. when it gets moved it breaks again and so on. I would recommend you check this out, perhaps a replacement cable may be in order.. Otherwise get a serviceman to have a look. get a "Quote" though before proceeding.

Screen blanks out on certain positions on laptop

This sounds like you have a short in the LCD ribbon cable and it will need replacing, in most cases you will have to replace the screen but if you can find the exact ribbon cable, replacing should do the trick.

If i move my screen it goes purple and have to keep moving it to get a clear screen but even then as im using it it still flickers purple

Sounds like the LCD display cable is either loose or broken. I would suggest that you bring the unit into an authorized service center to repair your laptop. Not knowing how to open and repair the unit could prove very costly.

Screen flickers on Acer Aspire A150 Netbook

Hello,

It really sounds like you have a short in the ac adapter. Laptops dim the backlight on the screen when on battery power and go full brightness when on AC. I think your adapter is going on and off. When it is on the screen is on full and when it goes off the screen dims down a bit. You could have a bad adapter, most likely, or a bad charging jack in your laptop. Check the adapter first, just use a multimeter set to voltage. Read lead goes to the center pin and black lead goes to the outside metal contact, you should get a reading of 18 to about 26 volts. Move the wire around near the plug that you are holding and keep checking the readout. I think you will find the voltage dropping as you move the wire.

I hope this helps, If so please rate my solution.

The display screen goes off when the laptop is moved

Sounds like the ribbon which runs between the screen and base is being nipped or is not making a good connection. This is a common problem. If that is the problem you may find that by adjusting the screen you can actually get the picture to show again which will confirm but obviously it will continue to happen.

Most laptops have a narrow panel above the F keys which snaps off and reveals the ribbon underneath. Check the connection is pushed in tight and also that the ribbon isn't being nipped, reposition to stop this happening. If it's been damaged then obviously you will have to replace it.
