Television only stays on for a minute and then goes out

I have just replaced the lamp and now I have a white area about 3 inches wide and 3 inches long. How do I get rid of this spot?

Ur tv have been in use for at lest 4 or 5 hours a day the last 1 1/2 or 2 year?The projection bulb life it over.Require a new bulb.

If you replaced TV lamp recently then check lamp cover and make sure to seat it properly.

we need make and model. If it's a dlp you might need a lamp replacement.

Get price of a LCD drive board first, then call a shop to see how much they would charge to replace it. If you have already researched the price you can get a better deal. But I really wouldn't try to replace this yourself. It takes major disassembly and alot of training just to get this model taken apart and put back together. Good luck, Russmann.

If your model number is E44W46LCD Rear Projection , yes this will should fix your problem and you can do it yourself. Just be careful with the LCD cube that is beside you color filters, it is very fragile and hard to get.

The huge yellow circle is either your blue filter is burnt out (very common in Zenith DLP) or you LCD cube is bad. I would bet it is the blue filter. Zeniths DLPs have 3 color filters one blue (a pinkish color), one green (a grayish brown)and one red (it is red). For the bulb indicator I would check and make sure your lamp is seated to the ballast correctly. Just take it out and put it back in.

That would be the first thing I would try as it is probably flakey.
