Which OBD2 scanner will work on the 2001 most are for 2002 and later

All scanners start at 96, then go up. Even code readers. If you say a genisis 2.0. That may not read yours because it is an old scanner. It is 15 years old. I have a 5.0 that does 2012. And an autel that is up to date.

Hello I have a 2002 chrysler town and country lsi 3.8 and I'm installing a tcm and after installing do I need to get that reflashed or will the computer learning itself

You will need a scanner to relearn. Sometimes a used will will work but I suggest getting it relearned. It only takes 10 minutes to do if you have the scanner. SnapOn or OTC scanners will work. I know this because I have uesed both of mine to do it with. Good Luck !

How do you reset car immobiliser

The immobilizer system is there so nobody start your car, only if they have an authorize key. Only the dealer has a Bidirectional scanner that interacts with the immobilizer ecu, to reset it they need your basic information as a owner the technician information te scanner then make a request to toyota databases for a security number, with this number and the scanner, they open the immobilizer reset mode, then the old key encrypted values are erased, Next all your keys new or the old ones are entered during the process. Note the there is an exception on some models from 2000 to 2002 you need the computer if you loose the key, there is no reset procedure, this computer is free, if is the first time that you loose the master key, an you have no more keys.

I have my Ricoh Aficio MP 2000 connected to my computer via USB but my computer does not recognize the scanner. I can however print from my computer to the Ricoh. I tried installing the TWAIN driver,...

I have the same problem. I use the USB, my client is far far away from me, and is better for me install the Ricoh using the USB. But the scanner don't work.

Maybe the only way is using a ethernet cable, but i dont want to drive so far... :(

Do u have any idea about y2k38 problem?? can u please in a summarised way?? n suppose we are in the year 2038...and we change the time in our computer to year 2000...then will our applications work??

Good question but the computers we use nowdays wont be worth anything by then........but i'll you a story anyway. Back in the 80's everybody was saying that no PC would work past year 2000. I had an old computer and tried 2001 it still worked. So i tried 2002, 2003 and so on till 2010.......haha it dropped dead. Moral to my story is dont go changing your pc to silly dates because it will have an expira somewhere. Cheers from Scott.......I know its not an answer but made me laugh remembering how silly i was

I've been using my 5300C scanner with Windows XP for years. Now, all of a sudden, my computer can't find it. My scanner is connected. I tried re-installing the scanner software but my computer tells me...

Most likely your scanner was put offline by a microsoft update. Mine was knocked out of business by a hardware driver update downloaded from microsoft update.

Try to roll back the scanner driver (my computer, system, hardware select scanner, properties, rollback driver to prior version) or go to your system restore function and do a restore to a earlier date when you know the scanner was working and see if that fixes it.

Worked for me. Windows XP pro

Cant get scanjet 2100C to work with Windows Vista

Unfortunately, HP doesn't support Vista for that scanner model.

However, some have reported success using windows 2000 drivers on Vista.

You can give the windows 2000 drivers a try here:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=59554&

Be sure to unplug the scanner from the computer BEFORE installing the driver / software.
