Low gas output on BBQ Galore Grand Turbo

I have had low gas output on this unit and it is relatively new (~ 16 months old) I am not sure the unit ever had sufficient gas. At times (seemingly after it rains) that the grill is barely able to light. Not an ignition problem - more an issue of inadequate flow of gas.

Can't find a natural gas regulator for a BBQ Galore 4 burner slide in grill. Believe it is a SST ( or sts) Turbo model. Any suggestions on what might be a valid substitute? Grand Hall ( the parts...

I assume you have already check with BBQ's Galore ( 800-752-3085 ), as they usually stock conversion kits, if that particular model is approved for conversion. Also, you will need 4 new Natural Gas Burner Orifices. The Propane ones will not work satisfactorily, if at all.

Hope this helped and Happy Grilling!!

Hi,

BBQ Best (www.bbqbest.com.au) have natural gas conversion kits so you can convert your bbq from LPG to natural gas. Great site and good advice - Simon the owner was the only guy that could help me out.

You need to look at the orifices to see if the hole on it is big for Natural Gas and small for LP!

The rotisserie heating element does not fire up on my barbeques galore grand turbo BBQ. Electric ignite seems to be working, but smell gas no heat

The rotisserie should have a thermocouple near the burner. If you have to hold in the knob, or push a red button to get the gas to flow to the burner, and the electrode sparks and the burner lights, you have to continue to hold the knob or button in until the thermocouple gets hot enough to keep the gas on. If the burner keeps going out, you could have a bad thermocouple.
