Question about Washing Machines
I own a LG 8.5kg washer and it gets half way through the wash cycle and drains most of the water but then stops and and the "No Drain" light turns on. If I manually set it in rinse or spin it will do it without any problems so I know that the drain pipe isn't blocked. Because it will drain the water on those other settings I'm don't think the problem is mechanical. If anyone knows if there is anything I can try myself (Eg, reseting program) before I get a repairman out to fix it.
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (4 to 6 inches maximum). Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
