Question about Microwave Ovens
Started making a louder than usual humming or buzzing sound and it won't heat anything,I'm surprised it hasn't blown the fuse.when we have had power spike's it burns out the underneth light bulb every time, so it has taken some hits.
power spikes are very damaging to a microwaves internal parts, it sounds like your transformer and/or magnetron are blown. if the unit is out of warranty I would reccomend getting a new microwave and also get a small single plug surge protector for it.
