Question about Zyxel P660HW-D1 Router
Our connection was working fine for months, then today I got to work and I could not connect to the internet. I phoned our ISp provider and they advised that everything was okay at their end, and maybe there was a power surge, and they said we would need to login again with the correct address, the problem is if I type the numbers in the web bar he gave me nothing happens, and I am not sure where to go to login to enter our login address and password again.
First reset the router. To do this look at the back of the router & you'll see the power cord. Unplug it.
Click this link to view the quick start guide.
Use a pen & press & hold in the reset button for about 15 seconds. Release & plug the power cord back in.
Restart the PC.
Load internet explorer, try loading a web page like www.yahoo.com
If you end up on yahoo's web site your router is still alive.
In the browser's address window type in
192.168.1.1 than press the enter key on your keyboard.
This is your default configuration.
If you can not view the pdf file you will have to install Adobe reader. Click the next link to download a free copy of Adobe.
You should be fine now. It happends again you know what to do.
Need more help, feel free to ask.
Good Luck & Kind Regards.
