Question about Lexmark X7350 All-In-One InkJet Printer

AM/PM firmware problem on X7350 printer

I received a new X7350 printer for my birthday 2 weeks ago, and found that when I selected the 12 hr mode to set the time with, that when the time changed from 11:59PM to the next day, my date advanced by 1 day, BUT the time displayed was 12:00"PM" instead of 12:00:AM" as it should have been. Nothing I could do with Lexmark phone support could fix this problem including going into the Manufacturing menu by holding down the number 5 button and power button at the same time, and then selecting option #11 on the fax menu which cannot be accessed except with this method that Lexmark had me do. In option 11, I then selected "Clean NVRAM, what ever that is, and tried everything again, and the error was still there. Lexmark sent me a brand new replacement X7350, unopened, in it6's original box as a replacement, and believe it or not, this printer does the same exact thing. When the time changes from 11:59PM to the next day, the date changes correctly, but the time shows 12:00pm instead of the correct time of 12:am. Is this a known firmware error in all X7350 printers? I find it hard to believe that noone else has ever noticed this error. Does everyone out there use military time on there printers which seems to run ok on the X7350? Please give me some feedback here. Thanks

Unable to choose "pm" when setting time

Good question! There seems to be a little confusion over this. It appears that some firmware updates leave you with an option to select AM or PM hours from the System Options-->Set Time on the remote. The most recent firmware update seems to have removed this ability, so only a 12hr clock is shown, but there is no option to set AM or PM. The clock will always default to AM. So, one workaround is to simply set the time before noon! Also, the remote will pick up the correct time when connected to the computer (assuming your system clock is correct) and you update the remote.
