When i try to open my c drive in a dell inspiron laptop computer, it gives an error message that access denied. what might be the problem?

It isn't a problem it is for the safety of the Operating System. Access is usually denied because you are not an "Administrator".

Toshiba A135 Bios password

This appears to be a common problem with toshiba laptops, and it can be resolved by keeping the laptop's bios up to date. However, because the problem has already started you can contact toshiba and send your unit in to them and they will fix the problem for you (and should not charge you).

Type in password get message access denied or incorrect passwork and reboots

I was given an old computer years ago that was password protected I was told to pull the battery out for 10 sec. then reinstall it. It cleared the pass word protection. Note: pull the power cord push the start button to drain any power from the system, ground your self to protect the computer of any static electricity first.

Cannot delete photos - access is denied

Turn off the device then turn it back on. that should solve the problem. normally this is because a program on the Palm is still associated with that picture. turning it off and on severs that association.

I hope this has answered your question sufficiently. If you have more questions please post a reply and i would be happy to assist. Thanks.

Accessing a folder.

This will sound off the wall, but we had something similar to this happen with my last laptop, where it was "access denied" in lots of areas, and we would have to find little backdoor ways to get into control panel and document files. The problem with our computer was that it had previously crashed, and we had rebooted and reinstalled the xp, but didn't have the registration number, so it would run ok, but to get into all those access denied things (which you eventually need to get into) we had to come up with our registration number.
Did it prompt you to enter the product key when you re-installed it?
