Re: problem with a screen display
This seems like it would be more appropriate for the TV area as its not likely a remote issue. It sounds like you've accidentally changed source inputs to one that not there or the source you were on lost connection, if so check your cables if it HDMI unplug with everything off and reconnect.

On the front of the refrigerator is located the electronic controls, just above the ice dispenser. There is a white box in the middle and four black boxes (buttons), 2 on each side. Press the upper left button which will activate the display. Press the lower right button - options - several times until it says "Replace H20 Filter", and presents a yes/no option. If you have replaced the filter, say Yes. The reminder will turn off.
Precor Error 12, Watchdog (Lower PCA)
1. A failure in the lower PCA overloads the low voltage power supply and causes it to drop below the preset level.
2. A fault in the interconnect cable (upper PCA to lower PCA) causing the low voltage power supply of the lower PCA to be too low.
3. A failure in the upper PCA that overloads the lower PCA low voltage power supply causing it to be too low.
If the error message is continually displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper PCA needs replaced.
External causes may make the error appear intermittently.
If the AC input of the unit dips significantly during power up test sequences, the test could fail causing the error to appear.
A treadmill connected to a non-dedicated AC circuit can experience this error intermittently.
Determine if the interconnect cable is the cause by substituting a know good cable in place of the current cable. For test purposes, the substitute cable needs to be connected directly between the upper and lower PCA's, without routing the cable internally.
Determine if the upper PCA is the cause by substituting a know good upper PCA for the existing upper PCA.

I have the same problem sometimes, when it happen I press the touch media key in the middle right side of the phone, and enter to the pictures aplication and exit touching the screen, this appear to recalibrate the touch pad most of the times.
According to SharpUSA the problem with the "Loss of Sync" error message is that (most probably) the cables (between the box and the display) are not connected properly (so remove and reconnect them carefully, on both units) or a cable is defective.
Also, after you reconnect the cables try turning on the unit, if no success then depress the "clear" button on the external box (under the door on the front and on the bottom left and try turning on the TV again).
It is, most likely, that the cables are not seated properly. Reseat the cables on both the display and the external box.

First, hit the 'Message' button in the upper-left -hand corner. Select 'New Message'. Select 'New Short Msg'. An empty screen for inserting text will now be displayed. At this point press the top middle button (the one with the line on it like this -). Now the 'Message Menu' should be displayed. Scroll down to 'Entry Setup' & select it. Press the 'Change' button in the upper-right-hand corner when 'Primary Setup' is highlighted. Scroll down to 'TAP English' and select it. Now you are done. ('I TAP English is the setting for predivtive'. 'TAP English is the setting for manual').
On the main screen tap the "QUIT" in the upper right hand corner of the scrreen. This should bring up a smaller box asking "Are sure you want to quit?" with a "Cancel" and an "OK" tab. Do not select either tab, instead tap you finger on the left side of the small box twice, then on the right side once, then again on the left side (L L R L) in rapid manner. This should bring up a small box stating you are in "Service Mode", tap "OK". This should bring up a box with 3 tabs at the top. Tap the "Battery" tab. The next box will have a tab on the lower left side "Exchange Battery", tap it, then tap "OK" on the next screen. This should set the battery install date to the current date and the expiration date 2 years out. Back out and shut down and reboot. You should no longer get the "Replace battery" message. The screen should display the new dates for the battery.
Press MODE (lower left) button until "ALARM" appears in the display. Then press SET (lower right) button. T1 should flash to indicate you are setting an alarm for Time 1. Press MODE to cycle through the alarm settings. Press ALARM (upper right) button to advance the hours, tens and minutes to the desired time. When the far right of the display is alternately flashing "T1" and then "AL" you can change the chime and alarm tones by pressing the ALARM (upper right) button. The alarm is on if the middle symbol (lines) on the left of the display is shown. The hourly chime is on if the lower symbol (bell) on the left of the display is shown. When you are done, hit MODE (lower left) again to return to normal time display.
