I had the same problem with mine. Fortunately when I first purchased the fryer it was under warranty and Ultrex sent me a replacement. At the same time I went ahead and ordered an additional one to keep on hand and now glad I did. When I took the broken unit apart I noticed the connection to the reset button had melted, therefore, neither the light nor the heating element would work. I am looking around the internet to find a replacement reset button switch to swap out the broken one and then if it works, keep it as a backup. If anyone knows where to get ahold of the reset button switch box please post.

Try a different cord. I just had this problem with the Premium brand deep fryer. I was able to take apart the large plastic piece on the cord (one screw). The contacts are flimsy and had extra space to move. These contacts had been bent away from the exterior of the module. I bent them out and started frying again!

Bravetti Deep Fryer Model F1053B Not getting Power anymore

Hey guys I fixed my problem...yay. All I did was to push a red button which I beleive is a resset button on the back of the on/off button part. It ain't visible but if you look in the holes of the screws that hold this part together (they are far down in the hole) one of them hides a small red button. Push it down with a toothpick or anything small enough to fit the hole and you're done. Plug it back and it works.
