My tv. is very green

From your description, seems like you have lost one of the three projection tubes... they are the light source for the TV screen - and are not cheap.

Suffer with the green or purchase a 500 dollar plasma TV (cheaper)

Hitachi 50'plazma just went black one day no picture and now no sound there is power .

either the Plasma glass envelope has failed. this brings the plasma chamber to be at atmosphere. Or. the very high voltage power supply for the plasma to light has failed. if the tv has been dropped or otherwise been handled roughly the plasma tube can fail as they are fragile to say the least.

I hope this information will help you.

Tv colors are loosing

Well, the truth is that CRT - Tubes wear out.
These tubes are only 5" diagnally and they have a great amount of voltage that ignights the tubes phosphore on the face of the tube. Think of carpet that gets walked on in the same place every time. Same idea - the area that get's walked on wears down. No way to restore the carpet execpt to replace the whole carpet. Just like the CRT tubes. If you wish to have better color. Replace the 3 CRTs 'Red, Green and Blue'.
Honestly it would be cheaper to purchase a new TV. Might be time to upgrade to a flat panel. Plasma's have much better color than LCD. You may look into a rear screen DLP Projector TV. Good color also but a lamp to think of replacing at some time.

I moved my tv to a friends house while i moved. we turned it on without leaving it get to room temp. think i blew a picture tube how do i detect this and how much is it to be replaced and also what parts...

picture tubes do not "blow" go bad by going dark check your circuit board for fuses test them and, replace the bad ones as your high voltage circuit is what lights up your tv tube... tv tubes do go bad when they do they show "blooming" and, bad ion masking not a black screen unless the tv is a newer lcd / plasma screen then just replace the inverter board or, cold cathode

Bad picture

A 10 year old Rear Projection tv is usually at the end of its life. No such thing as "fluid". Best advice, get a new TV.
