Check your local vacuum stores. I don't know if you'll get one cheaper, but they mat be able to supply a good used one and save you a few bucks.

How to fix dirt ***** easy steamer deep cleaner, it is leaking water?

Hi there! Check the clean water tank valve to see if that is where the leak is coming from. If so, your clean water tank will need to be replaced. If the leak is coming from somewhere else we recommend taking the cleaner in to a Dirt Devil authorized service center for repair. I have included a link where you may locate the nearest service center to you. Hope this is helpful. If you still need assistance feel free to reach out to us here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil or Twitter @DirtDevil.

Dirt devil spot scrubber not picking up

Hi there! There are a few reasons why your spot scrubber may not be picking up. Your dirty water tank may not be seated properly or the filter may be dirty Please try these steps.

1. Check the filter located on top of the dirty water tank. If dirty, rinse with water.
2. Check that the pour spout cap on dirty water tank is plugged.
3. Replace the dirty water tank. Make sure the dirty water tank is flush to the cleaner and seated properly.
4. Clean the nozzle of any hair or debris.

Hope this helps! For further assistance please feel free to reach out to us here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil or Twitter @DirtDevil.

Dirt devil platinum force no longer pushes easily

Hi there! If your vacuum is suddenly hard to push this could be an indication that your belt that controls your brushes has broken. The brush roll helps to maneuver through carpet. Check that the brushes are still spinning. If the brushes are not spinning you will need to take the vacuum in to a Dirt Devil authorized service center to have the belt replaced.

There are also two small wheels underneath the vacuum that controls the automatic height adjustment. Inspect the height adjustment cam, shaft and wheels for damages.

Below is a link where you may go to locate the nearest service center to you. Hope this was helpful! If you require further assistance feel free to reach out to us here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil or Twitter @DirtDevil.

It sounds like either the bearings are seized, or there is debris in the assembly. You will probably need to dismantle the vacuum and clean everything out. It's not unusual for vacuum s to get really dirty and need periodic maintenance. If you have replaced the belt, then you have the skill to do the rest. Note that after re-assembly don't try to lubricate the bearings. They will only collect dirt faster.

Lost instructions on how to use my dirt devil platinum force carpet cleaner
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best way to get the owners manual is from Royal itself and to contact the Royal factory @ the phone # listed below and to give them the brand name and model # in order to get the correct owner’s manual for your particular vacuum cleaner. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
