Receive msg: "Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected

I've been using refilled cartridges for some time and never had a problem before. These two cartridges were filled maybe 3-4 weeks ago. We don't print a lot. But, all of a sudden I got this message and no matter how many times I took the cartridges out/shook them, reinserted them, I keep getting this message.
The printer is a PhotoSmart.
Please help if you know what this message means, and what might help getting it working again.

Your pen nib is faulty, but you are filling the ink, it wont work right?.. Similarly print cartridge(s) are faulty, no use to refill it. Do this exercise:Remove both cartridges from the printer, switch on the printer see the cartridge missing status on panel, insert mono(Black) cartridge close the door see the panel massage, if it's detected no issue with mono cartridge,if not mono cartridge faulty. insert colour cartridge & see..find out replace it...

Print cartridges missing or not detected

Are they new cartridges?

If so, have you removed the clear plastic protection strips from the cartridge heads?

I buy until now 5 hp351 colorcartridge, after few days is "dead"

Sounds like the problem is that you are refilling the cartridges. Each HP cartridge has a special chip on it that will only read the original ink supply properly. Try a brand new cartridge that has never been refilled and see if that makes a difference.

Printer won't print-says color cartridge is missing and it is there

Just a shot in the dark, was it a refilled ink cartridge. I know HP has a problem detecting the remanufactured cartridges from time to time. And too, if it is not refilled cartridge perhaps you just have a bad cartridge.
Oh, of course Julie remembered to pull the tape off of the bottom of the ink cartridge, correct?
Hope this did some good, please leave rating,
thank you kindly.

Cartridge errors..cartridge incorrect

sounds like they're the type of cartridges that cannot be refilled, due to the computer chip on them.

Dell All-in-one 924 error: "right cartridge is incorrect"

Hi ,
if you are getting the error msg 12203 , pperform the following steps,
remove both the cartridges from the printer and unplug the power adapter ( black box) from the back panel of the printer, clean the cartridges using a damp cloth .

initially put only the black cartridge and then turn on the system , it will give you the error msg right cartridge missing, you can ignore it and try copying a document .

remove the black cartridge and put the color one in, and then try printing.

during the printing with any of the cartridge inside the printer if it gives out the error msg 1203 then that cartridge has to be replaced...
