VIZIO 50" DTV- No picture for about an hour

When I turn my Vizio 50" plasma tv on, it is fine on any input setting except DTV. It takes 20 minutes to 2+ hours before I can get a picture on DTV. Once you put it on DTV, if it is still black, it is stuck on DTV input. You have to manually change it back to another setting (like AV, TV, etc.) Why is this happening?! It is just out of warranty, of course!
