My computer doesn't find my web camera but is conected at the computer

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

If your camera's driver is not installed, it will not work.
Make sure you go to the manufactures site, and download the correct driver there.
However, if your driver IS installed, then yes, your USB cord might have gotten bad.

as long as your logged on as administrator then updating your device should be straight forward,

so plug in your card
start up your computer
the wizard should pick up the new device and autoinstall it
then update your drivers for the device or download the drivers from the manufactuerers web site
check your model and make of device

If your memory card is full it's time to transfer some of your pictures to a computer or put them on a cd or dvd disc.if you have the cables to conect to a computer plug the camera into the computer and then turn the camera on. Depending on your operating system your computer may or may not see your camera.If it does you may see a window asking what you want to do , just read through and make your choice.If it doesn't right click the My Computer icon and see if it shows up there as a removable device if so try to open it,from there you can move pictures around to folders on the computer. If your computer doesn't find your camera at all you may need software from the camera company ,if you have a disc install it ,if you don't check the manufacturers web site for software.If the computer doesn,t work out most photo finishing stores can copy the pictures to a disc freeing up space on your card for more pictures.

You need to install the driver first. and Make sure it is updated.

it some problem your friends web camera........or online data problem link not be conect your web cam.

it's not likely the cable went bad.  Do you have more than one USB port you can try? do you have other USB devices to test the port? did you reboot?
