Try locationg the "Play Seconday Audio" option in settings and change it either from YES to NO or NO to YES. An elderly friend of mine had the same problem and that solved it. He uses Time Warner Cable, not sure what you are using, but it is worth the try.

I need this older magnavox tv I bought to go to channel 73, at this time I can only go to 69. It is model # 27TS73-C104. I have sat. reception and need the channel 73. Thanks!

I am assuming you have a dish network duel tuner. You can actually use any channel under 60 for the second t.v.. You can find all that information in that big pamphlet that your remote comes in. It also sounds like your in antenna mode, (please make sure your tv2 side is on before you do this) go to the second tv go to menu system set up scroll through until you see input type or something along those lines, make sure you select cable, then do a channel scan/ setup it should pick it up.

When I turn on the TV the channel automatically goes to a high channel-spanish speaking -no matter what channel it was on when I turned it off.

this sounds like a manufacturer defect I have found no precedence for this problem anywhere else so I cant imagine the company even giving out an answer to such a rarity of a problem I would suggest contacting the manufacturer and seeing about having them replace it

If it's that new call the place that it was purchased and see about manufacturer warranty... It should have a one-year parts and even that will help...
The problem you're describing is likely the center led or prisim. The unit thinks there is a tape in the tape path and attempting to load it. Not an expensive repair but highly complicated for the average person...

Get a universal remote or go online and order a replacement original remote for your model. Then use the remote to enter the menu, unlock any child locks, make sure the set is in standard cable mode and do an autoprogram.
