Its an Error Related to a Paper Jam on the Paper Roll Tray!!!!! Please Check the Inside of the Printer if there are any Bits of Paper which are stuck on it!!! That would cause this Error Message to Appear!!!! Good Luck!!!!
General tip: If the paper tears when you pull a jam out of the printer, spread the paper out and make sure you have all of the pieces. A small shred left inside can cause another jam.
"I also can the drum" - does this mean you discarded the printer cartridge? I've never seen a cartridge cause a jam. Usually an accordion-fold jam in this area is the result of the fuser rollers not turning or a torn fuser sleeve. A jam without an accordion fold indicates that the paper did not make it into the toner deposition area soon enough - this could be a problem with the pickup roller or the next set of rollers. Worn or dirty rollers can work intermittently before they quit completely.
Also, check the paper detection flag to make sure it isn't hanging up (this is a black plastic tab that sticks into the paper path just before the
paper goes under the cartridge, and is pushed up or down by the paper). Look for the U-shaped optical detector that is interrupted by this flag, and make sure it isn't blocked by foreign material.
Please make sure that the paper settings on the printer is in sync from the application you're using (e.g.Microsoft Word).

The Lexmark x340 and x342n has 3 sensors that identify the path of the paper below it. 2 are below the feeder roll of paper and the other in fusion. Clean the sensor or adjust the tamnho the paper tray to which the document is.
Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out of the MFp Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance. NOTE: When calling for service you will need your printer model type and serial number. If you need help locating this information, click here.
What is happening is that a paper sensor is either hung or jamed so that the sensor is incorectly reporting an error .
I would remove the cartridge and using a flash light search for any scrap of paper that may be in the paper path. If you can't find any, I would next looked for a sensor flag to see if it is jammed out of position.
Of course, you could always call a service tech or even better submit this question to Lexmark Technical Support for more in depth assistance.
Contact Lexmark and get updated firmware - had this problem on an X342n unit yesterday and applying an update (now shows firmware LC.MD.P114 ), faxes started receiving properly.
