Question about Polycom SoundStation
My Polycom SoundStation Premier conference phone will work one time when I first hook it up through my Motorola SBV 5220 Cable Modem (from Comcast) Then it won't hang up. If I leave it connected, it is as I have left it off the hook. Is there another device i need to hook up to get my phone and Polycom unit to work through this cable Modem? Thanks!
Try adjusting the ringer volume, dial tone volume, and speaker volume. Make sure that the ringer type selection is not set to off. Also make sure that you are not bridging your call.
You can also use the Upgrade feature built into the phone to look for updates which may resolve your issue.
If this has only started happening recently, Restore the default settings and see if it resolves your issue.
