Fridge problem

my ice/water dispenser quit working last night. It has been sporadically "thumping". The trap that closes the ice dispenser (in the door) keeps opening and closing for some reason. It is a Maytag MFI2568AEW. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

yea you have a bad high voltage board, part located on back wall of rear of the unit. easy part to replace yourself, unit will come with directions to program the refig after your done installing it.
