the dvd have a small hole in front, you can use a small pencil for to force to open the port, the problem is that this dont seems a good product, my suggestion is to exchange it with other.

Hi,

With the unit OFF, press and hold "Power", "Stop" and "Channel Up" for 5 seconds.

Here is another method:

1. Press and hold the power switch.
2. Unplug the player
3. Wait a bit (say, 15 seconds)
4. Plug in the player
5. Wait for the dvd door to eject.
6. Let go of the power switch.

Goodluck..

If it was recently moved around or bumped, there may be a cd/dvd in it that slid out of place and is blocking it from opening. You can try tilting it side to side to see if anything moves around, to unblock it. (This is of course assuming that there is power to it and it does at least try to open)

Hi there

You can open the drawer manually by taking the lid off

and if accessible from the top, rotate the gear that lisfts the transport up and down, and opens the door. If you cannot get to this gear from the top, then you may have to remove the screws that hold the transport in place, to get access to the underside.

Check for a broken belt while you are in there. That may be why it has stopped.

oh, and don't forget to disconnect the power from the unit before you open it up. Your life may depend on this:) You may find even that powering the unit down for 10 mins at the wall socket and firing it up again, may reset the unit and allow for normal operation again. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about sorting your problem. Good luck

    best regards

and with mdwrig2 indulgence, if a disc has jammed in the loading or unloading process, check for any sticky substance about the center hole that has allowed the disc to be "stuck" to the chucking assembly, and thus dislodging it from correct placement on the tray. If oyu find any, then you may need to aloso clean the chucking plate and spindle platter also to prevent it from happening again

My player is doing nothing at all! Can't get the tray to open at all

If you remove the top panel, the recorder will work for some reason. Usually only while the top is off. It's not very cosmetic, but it works.

Can't load disc

as there is a small gears on both the sides of the door which gets a command to spin when you press the eject button as that gears are either worn out or got craked internally or are getting blocked due to any dust collected in between .if cracked or worn out replacement is necessary.but if got blocked due to dust particles just will have to open the unit by removing the screws from its top and back body and then cleaning the gears which will be easily seen internally.
