I have a Frigidare FBD750RCS0 dishwasher. The dishes in the top rack never gets cleaned and remains covered with crud. I pulled the dishwasher out and ran it and noticed that the clear tube that runs from the pump up to the top spray nozzle was slowly filling with water and never did fill to the top. It did fill enough for the water to flow to the top spray nozzle but did not appear to have any pressure. I noted the location of the water spay mechanism that is attached to the bottom of the top rack. I then started a wash cycle and after 10 minutes I opened the door and noted that the water spin mechanism was in exactly the same place as when I started the wash cycle. The spin mechanism spins freely when you spin it by hand I suspect that the problem lies in the low water pressure in the tube that supplies the top spray nozzle.
The bottom spray mechanism seems to function OK
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Gerry

You could try running it with the upper arm removed, just so you could be sure that the pressure is not getting to that point - unless you are absolutely sure the upper arm holes/channels are all clear then descale it overnight with some vinegar - just might clear something. if there is obviously only a little flow of water then perhaps you could try getting vinegar into the supply pipe using a basting bulb/syringe or similar - again leave overnight and you may get lucky. The next thing would be to take the machine apart so you could follow this hose through to the pump - undo it from the pump and blow through it or see if you can get a piece of wire in it from the pump end. try vinegar again. check the pump outlet for blockage. Hope this helps :)
SOURCE: broken nozzle and upper spray arm
the spray arm just screws back on, unless of course its cracked in which case needs replacing( chances are since it fell off its cracked) heres the part num 154478202

Sounds like the hose assembly that attaches to the rear of the upper rack has come undone. just pull out the upper rack and reconnect it.
please rate my answer as a fixya! thanks.

HI,
The top rack is not cleaning because of low water pressure from the wash motor to the upper spray arm.
Assuming the top spray arms are clear of debris, remove the lower spray arm to access the wash motor. Remove the 4 torx screws and the filter (accumulator assembly). Remove the torx screw and the inlet protector that covers the chopper assembly. Make sure the chopper is not broken (broken chopper will fill with debris and block water flow). While holding the chopper blade, reach inside the "D" shaped opening on top of the motor and spin the wheel/motor by hand in each direction to make sure either the chopper gear or the motor gear that drives the chopper is not broken. Replace the chopper if necessary . If the motor gear is broken, replace the sump and motor assembly . Remove any debris from the sump area in the process.
You don't have to shut the power off to the dishwasher because the door will be open, but if you feel more comfortable, do so.
thanks,

Either the pump is not able to pump due to clogged pump or there is not enough water in the tub after filling to get up to the upper spray arm.
