That's indeed a common issue with the older firmware versions. Please refer to: http://chall32.blogspot.nl/2009/06/digihome-dtr160-pvr-personal-video.html on howto get ahold of a newer firmware and flash it. Good luck !
Our problem was that we could not get picture on the tv screen but it got sound. We tried to solve it using different techniques like the setup, video source, function keys pressed on remote control by trial(only assumed) and error as we could not see the screen and I used scart with every conection but three point pin was free so I put only one pin in video out put and at that moment I could see the picture on tv.
It appears this stereo is compatible with a limited number of mp3 players. I had the same problem with my Ford Edge Sync option. See if you can get a list of compatible players from the manufacturer/ dealer. If not, try different mp3 players until you find one that works reliably and purchase one.
if ur mp3 has frozen it usually shows that the internal disk is corrupt the only thing you can do is to format it. plug ur mp3 player into ur computer right click on the disk when it comes up and select format. or u can go to command prompt and type in format e: for example this will fix it.
