Tv keeps shutting off with in 5-10 minutes after being turned on

    Look at the power button about 30 seconds after you turn it on and continue watching until it shuts itself off and see if any of the three lights are on or blinking, and post what you find on here.

The Tv keeps turning off every 1 minute or so


1) try going to the menu and search for power sittings and try editing them 2) open the catalog of the tv and see how to make go away 3)go to see some one professional to fix it but i do not think that some thing wrong with your tv exept the menu stuff so check it 4) try setting your tv to factory settings

Tv shut off on its own


Replaing the lamp will fix this problem most of the time.If not count the blinks. This is an error code.

My tv keeps shutting of after I replaced the lamp.


Please recheck new lamp is placed in its position correctly and lamp cover is well seated.
Hope that will help to fix TV.

After, he replaced the lamp it stoped over heating.

Tv shuts off


This shutting on and off~On Durabrand TV`S. If your Tv Turns Off after about 1-11/2 minutes after turning it on then you need to replace your batteries in your remote control with BRAND NEW BATTERIES or it will keep doing it. It is a real pain in the behind especially if you dont have brand new batteries handy!

there are some capacitors in the power area that need to be replaced. open the set and do some checking there and I am sure you will find the problem. good luck
