Mouse stops responding AOpen M-BJ69 suddenly stops responding sometimes for a few seconds sometimes i have to reboot to get it working again

I'm thinking there are some programs running in the background that shouldn't be running.
From Win XP, click on START>RUN and type msconfig
In Vista, just type msconfig in the space above the start button
Now go to the startup tab and uncheck the programs that are running at startup. Don't worry--you are not uninstalling them, just telling them not to run at startup. You can keep the ones that run your video and antivirus things like that. If you don't recognize them, don't worry. You can always go back into msconfig and check them to allow them to start up.
This will take some time, as it's a process of elimination.
This should fix it.

Drivers must be reinstalled with every boot up of Windows Vista Ultimate.

Yeah i can understand... Vista is showing same problems with other hardware & their respective software also... so i suggest you to download a new version of driver of AIWA PCI modem which is specifically for Vista...and you can find this on AIWA's website

Attempted to upgrade Vista to SP1 on an E-machine, during install, Norton reinstalled, upon rebooting - BSOD so I don't know if SP1 issue or Norton, or both. Using VISTA disk, the bar progresses and then...

Try booting into safe mode.
If you can, I suggest getting rid of Norton. The drivers are not compatable with vista.
Vista has a ton of issues and many types of softwhere will not run or work.
If you want a good virus software, use the new software from Microsoft.

MY USB HSDPA MODEM WILL NOT WORK WITH VISTA HOME PREMIUM SP1

Be sure your system meets the minimum System Requirements.
• Standard USB interface
• Microsoft Windows® 2000, Windows® XP or Windows® Vista
• Mac OSX 10.3.7 up to Mac OSX 10.5 32 bit version
• Minimum 50MB of free hard disk space
• Minimum 128MB RAM

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher

Uninstall or reinstall SP1. Like Windows XP, Vista will not be reliable until SP2.

If you are using the USB modem via a PCMCIA USB 2.0 adaptor, then you will have a power issue. The PCMCIA cannot supply enough current to properly initialize a USB mode (500mA). You will need to get your self a powered hub or get yourself a HSDPA mobile.
