Have you tried a Game Doctor/Disk Doctor? It can be purchased at most video game stores/music stores. Have had good luck in the past. They cost about $30.

My daughters xbox 360 sometimes plays for awhile, and other times says cant read disk when her game will play it either freezes up or just quits then it says cant read disk

hi, how well does your daughter look after her games? if her disk's have scratches on them the xbox will have trouble reading it and will often do this. another cause is that the xbox is old the laser will be worn out and will take ages to load a game.

the 2 solutions are:
1. check the disk, if it is highly scratched go get it cleaned, most gaming stores will do it for a small fee
2. take apart the xbox (only if out of warranty and step-by-step instructions can be found on youtube) and clean it gently with a duster

I have broken game MW2 it wont seem to work because of scratches watch should i do

Depends on the scratches. If they are light scratches that are not deep (you cant catch a fingernail in), you can try the paste they sell to "buff"out the scratches. It is kind of like waxing your car. Put it on, let it dry, rub it off.

If the scratches are deep (or if you have the laser burn circle) you need to check in your area for a place that will resurface your cds. Game Crazy used to do it before they closed. Some mom and pop stores have a machine to do it as well.

Worst case scenario is you can trade it in at GameStop. They charge a few bucks off the trade in value and you can put the trade value towards another game.

A game has a big scratch in it and i cant fix it.

If the scratch id deep then it will have to be replaced but if it is shallow you might be able to save it just take a soft lint free dust cloth and wibe around the disk in circles until you cant see the scratch any more

if you have any question just ask! hope this helps!!

I cant save my game when i try to save i cant get to the main mean

There might be a scratch on the ds game card. so ask the store you got it from to replace or fix the game. Another possibility is that it is already pre-owned.

My psp wont play any games it say cant read the games

Ensure that your UMD cases are clean and not full of smudges, scratches and finger prints. You can repair scratches with your typical scratch remover found at your local technology or music store.

You can also check that you do not have any debris around the laser diode and lens inside the PSP. Please be careful and only use lint free cloth (micro fibers or cloth made for cleaning eye glasses) to ensure debris is removed.

My gta4 game just got scratched again how can i stop this

This is a known error that effects some xbox 360 consoles.
try and keep your console on its side so the disc cant slip in the disc tray as this might cause it to scratch.
if it continues to scratch your disk you may have to send your console in for repairs.
oh ye if the game isnt working then go to a place like a dvd/ game store and ask if they clean disks mostr usually do and it fixes all but serious damage.

Your CD is scratched or your lens is probably dirty. Go to game stop, game crazy or eb games and you might be able to get it buffed.

Game Cube will not read disks. Please help!

you can clean the disks using tap water and then drying with soft cloth have you tried a lense cleaner to clean the laser on the cube get a good brand one not a cheap one also you can buy a disk cleaner that gently takes the scratches out of cds and gets them as new but you will have to shop around to get one but these work on anything cd dvd games the lot so deff worth having one as lots of people throw out dvds cd and games due to the scratches stopping them working but remember the data on a disk isnt on the plastic it is on the layey the other side of plastic the plastic is their to protect the data getting damaged so removing the scratches does not damage the disk if you have scratches this will affect the disk because the laser cant read through the scratch so polishing these scratches out will make the disk as new not many people know you can do this so consider yourself having privalaged info hope this is some help to you but you might have to ask arround for a disk repair so good luck you could even charge people to repair their disks and games this works for anything on a cd style disk.........................................................
