Hi there

Very simple - go back to the dealer you bought this from and tell them the CD was damaged when you opened the box. They will give you a new one on the spot.

Acer dlp power shut off after a few minutes on

That's typically caused by the thermal protector. If the fan is running normally and there filter (if there is one) is clean, then the thermal sensor has probably gone bad. It will need to be sent to a repair center.

I really need to download driver of pd100

This is an OUTPUT device, it doesn't have a "Driver" It It doesn't receive or give any instructions to or from the PC. It simply uses the Video & Audio, signal supplied from the source, usually a Laptop, and projects that image out.

i'm quite sure this is an issue with the lamp, probably a burn-in. if cleaning the lens (when the machine is turned off) does not help, then there's no other solution than to let it repair by an authorised repair center

blow the dust out of it with canned air, make sure the fans are all spinning. this should remove the causes of overheating. if it still says that it is overheating, replace the thermal sensor (usually near the lamp or the lamp fan).

ACER PD100D Overheating

I found that by using the menu to reset to factory defaults fixed the issue. It appears to be a combination of settings that causes the issue. I have created this situation a few times while trying to get more accurate colors from the projector.

No Signal

Try it with 75Hz for the second monitor and use the VGA input.

USB/serial is only for configuration.
