Uasdriver - have the flexcable replaced on the phone, this will take care of the display issue that you are having.

Guest - the flexcable or the lcd needs to be replace , take the phone to a mobile service center and have them replaced it.

Sounds like the phone is defective..Contact your cell phone provider to see if they are willing to replace it for you...I believe most company gives you one year warranty for the phone...
Hope that helps

V3 outer screen

There's a tiny magnet in the top of the flip, near the hinge.. try taking a small magnet and hold it over the keypad near the hinge, and see if it doesn't think it's closed, if that magnet didn't get put back in the flip, then the phone won't know it's closed.

good luck!

It was dropped in water. Dried out with battery removed. Seems to work OK except external screen only displays Moto logo and will not turn on when opened. if any button pushed phone will work..

Hello,

problem is either from the flex or from the screen. The water has damaged it or maybe it is just a coincidence. But problem lies between the screen and flex.

Good luck.

Display intermittently out of commission on my RAZR V3.

Its not a charging issue. The display issue is either due to moisture that seeped through the lcd screen or a loose connection between the lcd connector and the main board. Have the connection checked out and the other thing you can do is keep the phone off , clean the lcd screen softly until you do not see any grease on it and then gently with the tip of your thumb nail press against the lcd screen and see if there is any fluid like stuff floating in there.

Good luck.

Razr v3c the screen is dim all the time

it would be your display light is out and as far as I know the only way to fix that is to get a whole new LCD screen assembly. If that is the case go buy a new phone and not a RZR I know it's popular but honestly I've seen hundred's of them in my store busted and unusable after only a month or so. Not all motorola phones are bad but this one is the biggest piece of crap. I rank it with Kyocera phones!!!!!!
