And download the driver by click on the global link.
Unzip the file before you install it.
Unknown device could be a missing chipset driver, card reader, sound card etc. Try to install the drivers one by one and the unknown device should go away.
The best would be to know the brand of pc and the model, the MB came from. Then go to the brand website support section, and download the drivers for that model.
If you just google "drivers" you will find 4 to 8 similar places that do this. Personally I am wary of these, and I suggest you read the fine print before agreeing to installation. BUT they will probably work for you.
If you have the motherboard CD the Vista drivers should work in Windows 7. Try updating the drivers for the two unknown devices from the motherboard CD. If you don't have the CD you should be able to download the USB chipset drivers from your motherboards manufacturers website.
You can try this small application (http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz_150.zip), just unzip & run it and you'll see the details and the brand/model name of your CPU, motherboard and memory. And also for other hardwares (like graphics accelerator, network cards, ...) you can install and try this application (http://www.cpuid.com/download/pcw2008_v1871.exe) to get more detailed information about your computer's hardware. These applications are very simple and easy to use, I think it won't take too much time to get the knowledge of your computer's hardware. After this step, you can go online and check the website of the each hardware's manufacturer's for their latest driver according to your operating system. I hope this helps.
is it a seperate sound card or is it onboard, if it's on board let me know the motherboard brand & the model. if it seperate. chances are that you will have to use something like driver checker, where it will automatically download the driver for you.
