There are two possibilities available to get sim card not valid while inserting Sim on your phone.
1.There may be a problem in your Sim card so try another one.
2.Your mobile is locked to particular network provider.
If your problem persists,Your mobile phone is restricted by some network so try to unlock your mobile phone. You can unlock your mobile phone using network unlock code. It's the best way to unlock your phone. If you need an unlock code for your WickedUnlock.com I hope it will be very useful to you.
If your Nokia N73 says Invalid Sim means it may locked to some network. You need to unlock it.You can get the unlock code from the site Classicunlocking.com and Unlock Nokia N73 then use with any GSM Network Sim card...You can use any GSM Network Sim card after Unlock it.You cannot unlock CDMA Network locked Phones,Only GSM Network Locked Phones can be unlocked.
In my country (Philippines) you have to pay around US$80 to get the unlock code. You may try this site. They offer paid service as well as free service but your phone model doesn't qualify for the free unlock code.
The default security code for Nokia is 12345 IMEI: 359568011016758 Master code: 4444376533 Close all applications on your phone. With your phone switched ON, remove the battery. Then remove the SIM card. Replace the battery without the SIM card and switch your phone on. Type in the security codes (any code) until the phone request the Master code, when it does, leave your phone still, don’t use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code. This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it’s for your phone only. If it does not request the Master code, your phone will have to be connected to a computer and an unlock box to restore the Security code.
