Does the WLAN light show on the front of the belkin? If it does then wireless is enabled but your pc is just not finding the network. You could try changing the wireless channel to fix this.
Plug the ethernet cable to your pc.
open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.2 in the webaddress bar. this will open your belkin router settings page. On the left choose channel and ssid. Change the wireless channel to a differnet number and hit apply.

Alternatively if the WLAN light is off you could try hard reset the belkin to default settings. You should see a little reset inlet at the back of the router. Get something small and hold in the reset for 10seconds to put it back to factory.

Refrigerator model bx21vl does not cool. I can hear the compressor kick in but it kicks out in 5-10 seconds. Then after about 102 to one minute it kicks in and out again,

Compressor is tripping on overload. You may just need the overload and relay replaced due to a bad compressor relay. The relay is what switches the compressor from it's start winding to it's run winding. If you pull the relay off, shake it to see if you hear lots of rattling inside, that's a sure sign of a bad relay. I would replace both of them.
Here is the overload relay to order.

My Scan Snap won't scan. The Scan light just blinks and nothing happens.

My Scansnap was being used through a USB powered hub.

This worked....Shutdown EVERYTHING and unplug computer from your powerstrip for 10 seconds (or just turn off your powerstrip for 10 seconds) It resets the BUS power. This solved why almost all of my USB devices stopped working or were behaving badly.

Nothing works whit the d-link

seems like it gets stuck while its booting the config and stays that way. How are you resetting your device? Try to hold the reset switch for about 5 seconds and then all the lights should flash. At this point disconnect the power cord and let it sit for about 10 seconds. Power up the device again.

When my cratsman 2hp 4 gallon air compressor gets to full pressure (about 100lbs) it will kick off for about 5 seconds then kick back on for 5 to 10 seconds then off, then on. Just wondering what the...

If there are no major leaks and the pressure gauge shows no significant pressure loss yet the compressor cycles on and off every few seconds, then the air pressure switch is not set correctly. Go to http://www.generalairproducts.com/fireprotection/images/stories/Pressure-Switch-Adjustment-042705.pdf It shows how to set various pressure switches.

How to fix intermittent wireless signal with Dell Inspiron 1501

It's the Wireless Zero Configuration service that's doing it. Every 10 minutes or so, the WZC service goes out and tries to look for wireless networks. During this time, it can sometimes disconnect from your wireless network. Usually its brief, merely a few seconds, but long enough to kick you out of games, messaging clients, etc.

There is no easy way to resolve this other than stopping the WZC service after startup and successful connection to your wireless. Unfortunately, if you disable this service altogether, your computer will never connect to any wireless and when looking at the Wireless networks list, it'll mention the WZC service is disabled.

You will also need to re-enable this service everytime you take your PC to places where you'll be connecting to other wireless networks. To stop this service, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Start -> Run -> and type "services.msc" (without quotes)
  2. Scroll to the very bottom of the list
  3. Right click on the Wireless Zero Configuration and choose stop
Once it stops, continue working with your wireless network. If you no longer have disconnection problems every 10 minutes roughly, you've solved your problem. Repeat the above steps after every reboot as the service will be re-enabled after the computer restarts.

Conflict between wireless router and cordless phone

Hi,
you should try changing your wireless channel in the router setup.
1) log into your router.
2) go to the wireless setup page.
3) change the 'Wireless Channel' from auto to 1-11.
4) re-boot your router and re-connect to it.
5) use your cordless phone and see if the connection drops out.
6) repeat steps until you have a stable channel

good luck :)

Have two laptops that I am using to wirelesly connect to the internet. Each computer will only stay connected from 2 to 10 minutes each then I am kicked off the internet.

What you can do is go into your routers settings via 192.168.1.1 and put in the username and password. Go into the wireless tab and change the wireless channel to 8 or somthing. Everyone usually has it set on 6 and this can cause a large problem if there are alot of wireless networks in the area.

If this doesn't work, try to do a hard reset on the router. Hold down the button on the back of the router for 10 seconds. This will clear all of the settings out of its memory. Then try to connect again. If this doesnt work power down both your router and your cable modem. Let them sit for a minute and then plug in the modem and wait 30 seconds. Then plug in the Wireless router. The issue should resolve itself. Also do the above.

Stops while driving

this is usually due to a dirty throttle body. just beware if you do try to clean it you will need to preform the idle relearn procedure. this does work, ive done it personally.

A. Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning Procedure.
1. Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released.
2. Turn ignition switch “ON” and wait at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds.
4. Turn ignition switch “ON” and wait at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn ignition switch “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds (how would you know if you get it right?)

B. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released.
2. Turn ignition switch is “ON”.
3. Turn ignition switch is “OFF” wait at least 10 seconds.
Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound (i never get this right because i never heard anything)

C. Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)
It's best to time with a watch/clock.

1. Perform “Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning”.
2. Perform “Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning”.
3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Turn ignition switch “OFF” and wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Conform that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
6. Repeat the following (steps 7a, 7b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
7a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD)
7b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops
blinking and turned ON.
9. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the CEL is ON.
10. Start engine and let it idle.
11 Wait 20 seconds
12Rev up the engine two or three times and make sure the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specifications. (this is fine because SES light lets you know if you did it right the way it blinks)
