My Bissell Lift off Revolution vacuum, pet brush suction very low. Was working fine last time I used it. Have had it for about 8 months with no probs. Clean filters every (or sometimes every other) time I use it.
-   I have a Hoover Windtunnel Cyclone - I've had it since December 2007 - and the suction on it recently died. There's no obstruction in the hose, and when I turn on the vacuum and put it on its back, the bristles still run. To exacerbate the issue, it's also been shutting off (overheating) when I run it for more than ten minutes at a time. I have a pet German Shepherd, so I really need it to be working at its best! Thanks.-   Guest
You may have a clog in the hose. Unhook the hose and see how the suction is there, if ok, then check the dirt inlet by the brush roll. If suction is low at the hose, then there is a clog in it.

5 yr. old Miele s514 Turbo plus's power nozzle brush seems to disengage temporarily, stopping the spin. Then it seems to re-seat itself after a few seconds, then starts spinning OK. I keep the nozzle brush very clean, so there is no hair or yucky stuff to cause it to jam. Please help.

Dirt is coming out the bottom of my Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum. My husband found a large dust bunny in the drive belt and removed it. He also changed the bag. Why is dirt coming out the bottom? Thanks.
