My Bissell Lift off Revolution vacuum, pet brush suction very low. Was working fine last time I used it. Have had it for about 8 months with no probs. Clean filters every (or sometimes every other) time I use it.

- I have a Hoover Windtunnel Cyclone - I've had it since December 2007 - and the suction on it recently died. There's no obstruction in the hose, and when I turn on the vacuum and put it on its back, the bristles still run. To exacerbate the issue, it's also been shutting off (overheating) when I run it for more than ten minutes at a time. I have a pet German Shepherd, so I really need it to be working at its best!
